Purely Patriotic

Manda has a new kit out this week called Purely Patriotic. It's a fun 4th of July themed kit. My first son was born on the 4th of July. Incidentally, so was the Dr who delivered him. Due to drugs, I was just a little loopy and kept apologizing to my Doc, saying sorry you have to work on your birthday! I guess was a amusing him though, he kept smiling and saying it's ok! Anyway, so my first little firecracker came on the 4th and I thought I'd scrap one of his first baby pictures. How sweet huh? I can't wait to meet baby #2 and compare their new born pics! Also, I can't believe my baby turns 3 in a week! Where does the time go? Enough motherly rambling. Here is my LO~

It's a Marvelous Day....

In scrapland that is. It's rain where I am at! In fact I got a bike trailer for mother's day and DS and I were out on a little ride and got rained out! Good thing the trailer has a rain guard. I however was not so lucky. But it was ok, it felt good to get out and get my heart rate up. That hasn't happened in a while!

I have a few fun things to show you today. First of all, it's a new month, which means new challenges. Here is a challenge LO I did for the pop culture challenge at Gingerscraps. The song for the challenge was Bob Marley, Little Bird. I love that song so I had to participate. Kit is metal man by mITSYBELLE and is available at DSS

Next, De of Flowerscraps has an ADORABLE new kit out, called Choo Choo. This kit is perfect for me because DS is CRAZY about trains and thomas and all things CHOO CHOO. Check it out HERE

Somthing to Cheer you up!

It's Monday, groan! Not that I am complaining too much, the weather has been beautiful here that last couple of days. Yesterday was so nice, we stayed outside pretty much the whole day, BBQ'ing Brats for lunch and burgers for dinner. I love it! I do have a few things to help you get along with the beginning of the week though, first off is the adorable new kit from Manda. Seriously, this has got to be my favorite. It's a hospital themed kit inspired by her little guy who had to have hernia surgery! {ouch!} I don't have any hospital pictures yet, but she put a bedpan in the kit at my request and I am determined to use it!

Ok, if that didn't cheer you up, this ought to make you smile. This is how I discovered my son last night. He had taken all his toys off his shelf and put them into his bed and climbed up here and zonked right out. Oh Boy. Good thing I check on him every night for reasons like this! He usually just sneaks toys in bed with him {can you see golf clubs, really!}, but this... this takes the cake!

Helllllo everybody!!! How is your week going? Wens was a gem! DS and I went for a walk that turned into a 2 hour thing because I got lost. Whoops. We have lots of back paths around our house and I took one I never had before, and well before long I was way back from where I thought I would be! LOL It was ok but man, I was beat after pushing a stroller with a 40LB kid in it for 2 hours! Nap time was a blessed event, I just sat in the recliner and read a book. So nice! Today it's nice too, so we are headed to the zoo and possibly duck feeding. The ducks kinda scared me though, he he. There are like 500 that flock out of no where! Should be fun right?

Fresh Baked Wednesday!

Happy Wens Folks!! Hope it's a good day for you! I woke up to sunshine for the first time in like forever, so that makes me happy! Yesterday I had planned on taking a walk, but everytime I went to go the rain would come back out. Not kidding. Like 3 times it was beautifully sunny then BOOM! Rain! It looks nice today though, so hopefully I will make my walk. I need to get some stamps!

Monday Catch UP!

Well how was everybody's Easter Weekend? Mine was a little crazy, to say the least. We went to my in-laws who live on the top of a mountain. They have a lot of land, so we planned a huge egg hunt. Like 300 eggs and 20 kids. Ya, craziness. Unfortunately, it snowed, SEVEN inches the day before, so we had to push it back a day. I couldn't believe it. Most of it melted, but still. It made for a muddy, cold Easter! Here are a few pics to show you~

Got one! My son got me some great candy. He he he there were plenty of eggs!

And on the way home, so tired. We had a 3 hour drive ahead of us and he was out almost instantly. He got a giant bunny from one grandma and a duck from the other. He insisted on piling them on himself before falling asleep. How sweet huh?

Anyway, glad the weekend is over and I am back home. It's always nice to come home after vacation. Sleep in your own bed {without my son in the middle}, eat my own food and just relax. Wait did I say relax? I meant work! LOL I have about 15 loads of laundry waiting for me and tons of digi- scrapping stuff to catch up on. I guess I better get started! First up, Manda has a new kit out called Butterflies and Blossoms.

Here are my LO~ First off, all the baby clothes I bought only after ONE WEEK of knowing it was a girl {blush} I have slowed down considerable since then. he he Speaking of baby, I need to post week 25 pictures. For all of you that have kids, ya know that day when you wake up and Holy Cow! there's your baby belly. Seriously, it like happens over night! I feel like all of the sudden my stomach has popped. I need to show you and get your input. LOL anyway, back to business- And here is my 2nd LO. This is the one I am using for the QP exchange at DSS.

Thanks for all the comments about the sciatica. I think I am going to look into the chriopracter. Sounds like that worked for most of you! Thankfully I haven't had any pain since then, but sheesh the girl is only 5 1/2 months along! Thanks for the support! Have a great weekend! New Product Wens!

I love Wens!!! It's the new product day! And this Wens you are also get Manda's 2nd Download to New Beginnings. I am still visiting my mom and fighting with windows. :P We've been having lots a fun though. Met up with my MIL and she handed me a HUGE bag a brand new baby clothes! It is so funny how people like to shop for girls. I think I should stop buying clothes on my own and just leave it up to the Grandma's! LOL anyway, new for today I have a set of templates. These are my favorite so far. I wanted to get a page or two done with them, but don't have anything I need here, Thankfully My CT has done a wonderful job with these Babies.
