Day 13

Today's idea is easy peasey lemon squeezy! I love this idea, so much better then fruit cake {sorry if you like fruit cake. I've never actually tried it, but it wouldn't be Christmas with out a fruitcake joke or two!} This is also a great idea for far away relatives. Check out all this goodness HERE

Now through 12/31 you can use code: FSDEL at Harry & David to get free shipping with no minimum order!

Day 14-Up-cycling!

Up-cycling. I love up-cycling! It's the idea of taking something old, and making it new again. In this economy, where so may are struggling to make ends meet, this is a perfect way to give beautiful, yet affordable Christmas gifts. I have a box of clothes that either no longer fit or have a small stain that is bound for Good Will. I keep visiting it for material for up-cycling. Here are a few of my favorite projects {and gifts}.
Sweater Bag. How cute is this? So easy and sooo cute! I love that Flower! Find out how to make this HERE
I love this bag. Made out of old pants! How many of us have a pile of pants we can't bear to get rid of, but due to babies and what not, our hips will never again fit into? {Sheepishly raises hand in the air} Well, here is a perfectly acceptable, dang too adorable idea. Check it out HERE
And one more. I almost put this in a different gift post {coming tomorrow} but I figured it fit better here. This has got to be the easiest up-cycling project ever. And I want one! Check it out HERE
Hope you like these ideas. The possibilities are endless. Up-cycling has saved me quite a bit of $$ this holiday season, and the recipients will love everything!

Dear Anonymous ~

I have been left a few comments {which I sort of find amusing} about the proper use of the word "your and you're". I am just going say once and for all that I DO know the meaning and difference of these words. Really, I do. Believe it or not, I studied English in college. Really, I did. It was with an emphasis in creative writing, but still. Anyway, I'm sorry this is such an annoyance to you. I really should proof read my blog better. Maybe I should enlist the help of the school teacher on my CT {Carrie are you anonymous? LOL} to proof read for me. I'd just like to point out that most of the time I am scheduling these posts either way too late at night or way too early in the morning and just want to go to bed. With 2 busy kids, it's about the only time I can post. Half the time I either have a 3 year old on my back or a baby on my breast. So with an incredibly busy life outside of blogging, I am guilty of sometimes pushing post a little too quickly. I'll be better. I sure hope you're happy about that! And I do love comments. All comments. Thanks for them! :) Oh and Anonymous? It's Steph not Stephe. No big Deal, everyone makes mistakes.

Day 15

Lets visit another Etsy shoppe shall we? This one is called TickleBean and is full of awesome metal crafted jewelry. My favorite? This initial stamped heart necklace. In fact, I own this necklace. 'Cept mine has a T in it. How pretty huh?
I tried to take a picture of myself modeling this beauty, but I don't know how to use my camera and it just wasn't look right. I think this would be a great gift for the guys to get the gals, but how many guys read my blog? LOL It would also be a great gift for a highschool boy to get his sweetheart {if any moms out there are trolling for ideas} Check out this necklace and other great stuff HERE
*Just a note, I don't know this seller, I just love the stuff and thought I'd share!

Day 16

I am seriously in love with this idea. As a cocoa lover {scrappy cocoa anyone?} I would love one of these cute tins and so super easy to make too!
It totally reminds me of a hot chocolate "emergancy" kit. Like I should store it in a safe place for those days when the kids wont quit and the house is a mess {written as my 4 month old is screaming as she wakes up early from her nap and my 3 YO is crying in his room saying he never wants to take a nap again...} Anywho- check out how to make these HERE

Day 17

Another easy idea for your neighbors or friends. We used to do something similar when I was younger. A bottle of sprite, box of candy, couple bags of popcorn and a gift card to rent a movie. Viola! Instant movie night! 'cept there isn't any movie rental stores anymore... can you get a gc for redbox? LOL Doesn't matter, it's still a good idea!
You can get a cute printable tag HERE
