Camp Idaho Papers and Eye Candy!

Hello! Happy Monday! This is actually a scheduled post because right now I am on a 10 hour drive home to visit my family for the holidays. So, firstly, I have a few LO's to show off.
Nicole has an AMAZING new kit starting today called Just Blossom. It is a great girlie kit that I know you will love. Here is my LO. Just so you know, that is my niece in the pic with my hubby. Isn't she gorgeous? Anyway, they are making a funny face in the one pic because hubby was snuggling up to her thinking it was me. LOL And just a little secret~ I did an add on for this kit and it is SUPER cute! 
I did another SS Sat night. The "rules" were~

Step 1- You need 1 solid paper for your background and at least 5 patterned papers.
Step 2- Now go find 1 photo. It needs to be positio
ned between half and 3/4 of the page down.
Step 3- Go find a frame for your photo
. Or you can mat your photo if would rather.
Step 4- Now take your 5 patterned papers and cut them into strips. Place them behind your photo.Step 5- I want to see at least 3 elements peeking out behind your photo and at least 1 elements placed in front of your photo. 

Step 6- Next instruction, choose whatever element you want and place it wherever you want on your page.
Step 7- Now do your title and journaling and date! You have an hour to complete your page. Post in the forum!
I used Fancy Fall by Ginger of Ginger Scraps. I am seriously falling in love with her designs. All of her papers and elements have a great earthy/organic feel to them. Sunday Treat

Hello All! Hope your Sunday is going great! It is freezing here in Seattle and it actually snowed last night! I am dying! Anyway,

If you recall I said that I was going on a "Road Trip" with my scrap kits. I know we were in Seattle for quite a while, but we are moving on to Idaho. 

My next kit is called Camp Idaho. And it really has nothing to do with Idaho except that Idaho is a beautiful place for camping. It is basically and Out doorsy/camping kit that I think you are going to like. It is my favorite anyway! Here is my LO

Speed Scrap at Ginger Scraps

Last night I participated in my first ever Speed Scrap. It was so much fun! It was over at Ginger Scraps. Here were the instructions:

1 picture landscaped and framed

2 papers 1 patterned and plain

1 circle element 1 swirly element

1 animal (hard for me!)

repeating text

cluster by picture

title using fonts not alphas

So, here is what I came up with. I actually had something a little bit different, but when I went to resize it, it was gone! So I really speed scraped to reput this back together with in the time limit. Anyway, I made it. Recognize the kit? It's Nicole's Gratitude kit with an owl from Retro fall.

CT LO

So, here are my first few LO's as a Ginger Scraps gal. The first LO is with a kit called Kayla's Quilt. This is a great kit! All of the papers and elements have a great organic feel to it. Guess what? It's in the store on sale right now!

I used a kit called Retro Fall for this kit. This is a fun and funky kit with great elements. It is also on sale and you can get it here!

CT at Ginger Scraps

Well, I have been accepted as another CT. I am so excited and not quite sure what I have gotten myself into! LOL

I will be CT-ing with the girls of GingerScraps and couldn't be more excited! These girls have so much fun and play tons on their forum. I will be doing challenges and stuff like that. Something that I have never done before! In fact, there is a huge party kicking off tonight. Here is the invite-

You better show up! At 6 pm PST there is a speed scrap. I'm super excited as I have never done one of these before! I'm letting hubby have a "man date" to play X-Box all day, so he has to watch baby tonight. They also are going to play truth or dare afterwards. Go here to sign up and read about truth or dare. I also have some Blog LO's ready to go with Nicole's Beach Bum kit, but am having sizing issues with Photobucket. I have never had issues with this being too big.
